Energy and Environment in German History

The Cambridge German History Research Group presents a brand-new series of online seminars on 'Energy and Environment in German History'. Uniting scholars from Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, the series investigates a broad range of subjects that interact with energy, emissions, environment, and sustainability. In doing so, the series offers a historical lens on issues that have been salient, politically as well as in other respects, until today. All events will be held online and are open to postgraduates and scholars from all universities and disciplines. Newcomers are especially welcome.

The German History Research Group is an online seminar series that brings together scholars working on German history (in the broadest sense), offering them an opportunity to broaden their network, present their research and exchange ideas. It is funded by the DAAD Cambridge Hub and supported by the Faculty of History, University of Cambridge.
